Care at Home

Care At Home provides reliable experienced caregivers and aides for seniors in their own home. Care At Home is an affordable alternative to seniors forced to choose between being uprooted from their home and placed in a facility, or paying twice as much as what caregivers actually make to some huge homecare corporation. The reason we are an affordable alternative is that we are a licensed and bonded personnel agency with a network of experienced local caregivers. We screen and evaluate these homecare specialists and they pay us a small fee to place them. We specialize in non-medical homecare, which eliminates much of the hospital type bureaucracy and overhead that many of the larger corporations pass along to seniors. Care At Home believes that by it's very nature a large corporation is not capable of providing good personal care.

When you call Care At Home, you can speak to the owner, in person, twenty-four hours a day. I do all in home evaluations and interview all caregivers myself.  Our family has been providing reliable homecare to Southeast Michigan since 1985. I'm proud of the reputation we have established, and have dozens of cards and thank you letters from families we have helped throughout the years.

 

Who Do We Help?

 

Care At Home caregivers assist seniors or any persons who are facing an illness, recovering from a hospital stay, or whose strength is declining with age.

 

Our homecare aides are the perfect respite for family members who have taken on the role of primary caregiver for seniors but need some help. ( e.g. a wife caring for her husband or a daughter caring for her mother.)

 

Care At Home is the affordable alternative for seniors who have been released from Medicare but still need homecare to remain independant at home. 

 

We help seniors who are tired of the frequent turnover of caregivers they are experiencing with their current homecare agency. The reason for this turnover is that the caregivers know they are only recieving less than half of what is being paid and the rest is going to corporation overhead.
